Australian Alumni – Strengthening ties between Australia and the Philippines

Congratulations on the launch of the enhanced Philippines Australia Alumni Association (PA3i) website. I hope that this web portal will be a useful tool in broadening your reach and encouraging alumni from Australian universities, including our short term training recipients, to become active members of PA3i.

You have returned to the Philippines with a renewed interest and commitment to the development of your country. PA3i action and activism reinforces the Australian Government’s investment in strengthening human and organisational capacities of key Philippine institutions. By matching PA3i’s expertise and drive with more robust Philippine institutions we can together address some key development challenges confronting the Philippines. This website showcases PA3i’s strong commitment to support such a development-focused organisation. I encourage you to update this website and use it frequently to pursue better development outcomes for the Philippines.

We would like to recognise and thank the Australian Government through the Australian Ambassador to the Philippines, His Excellency Mr. Rod Smith, for the continuous support to PA3i. In particular, we would like to acknowledge the Australian Agency for International Development (AusAID)  Scholarships Alumni Network Seed Funding for providing funds for the  website enhancement project.

Our PA3i website plays host to a valuable resource – a community of graduates of degree and non-degree training by Australian universities and training service providers.
