In general, PA3i aims to strengthen Philippine Australian relations, supports AUSAID programs, reaching out to different chapters of the Association within the country and transcend territorial boundaries towards linkages with Australian Universities and institutions.

The Association was incorporated as a non-stock and non-profit duly registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission on January 9, 2001. It is organized to promote long lasting relationships among people who have benefited from Australian training and education and actively involve in social activities and development projects of Australian institutions in the Philippines. Its activities include fund-raising campaigns for its outreach projects, establishment of alumni chapters, and participation in Australian embassy activities, alumni conferences here and abroad, promotion of Australian education and continuing education program for members.

At present, the Association consists of fifteen (15) board members, having  Mr. Rafael Romero as its President and Mr. Roque Magno as its Senior Adviser. The PAHRDF (Philippine Australian Human Resource Development Facility) provides assistance to the association and its activities are supported by the Australian Embassy.
